So here's the plan for tonight...at like 6:00 I'm going to Town Hall Lanes in Johnston to watch Art do his bowling on his league and then from there we are going to Meadowbrook to play some REAL bowling.
I hope I kick his @zz! I probably won't and what's said about it is that i've only recently become a one handed bowler ;P
Yep and I just painted 6 of my nails white i figure since I always wear black the white should show up nicely ...

This year's christmas will be interesting:
- Christmas will be celebrated on christmas eve morning
- the day after Christmas Day I will be on my way to Florida
- Memere is stay down in port st. lousie until may (which we'll be driving back down to get her)
- by the time I get back it will be time to go to school again
- overall I won't have a christmas break....
I hate florida ....it's just not not well...not cold enough....which means I'm gonna have to shed some clothes gradually on the way down. By the time I hit say north carolina I'll probably be sweating to death oh how fun!
Not to mention I don't own one pair of shorts... yey :-/
I must say that I just love being the only one there with no tan not that I tan much anyway... you think they'll notice that I'm a Northerner?.....hmmmmm now that's a thought....

Well it was interesting we had like 9 people trying to eat at a table that barely fit 6. we kept hitting each other while were eating because most of us are right handed but my mom, uncle, and my cousin billy are all left handed so you get the idea....
I watched Terminator 3 too it was pretty good. "The brat" (as my mom so calls him) came over mom, art, "the brat" and I went to watch the tree light up. they added more lights to the tree so now it looks like a giant banana.
saturday "the brat" and I went to guitar center to get some prices on some strings, nobs, and a back plate. Nollen really is an air head :P I saw 2 fast 2 furious, it was good had pizza and went to bed exciting day ..oh yes...
Today is boring like usual have no idea what I'm doing today

Paul was a human ping pong ball joel hit benji like 3 times he started bickering with billy and chris through his bottle at billy and then we squared danced...and did the hill-billy clap ..... and had the biggest square dancing, hill-billy clapping thing in history. |

yesterday was pretty cool. I went to the homecoming football game and we actually won, 43-7. We played cranston east. Even though I had no idea what was going on i kinda figured it all out lol (yeah right) But I just enjoyed being out of the house and being with Justine we had some fun. Today i got a birthday party to go Little Christopher. I got $38 for my birthday so Im gonna buy myself a new discman seems mine likes to skip for no reason. On the first I'm getting my ears pierced, getting my 2nd holes so after that I'll have 5 all together. |

Really don't know why i chose that title...being 16 probably doesn't feel much different. yep so the other day I got this this in the mail from poetry.com which wasn't that much of a big deal since they've published 3-4 of my poems and have invited me 3 times to D.C. for some poetry convention thing that I will never be able to pay for. So I open it up and it says:
"Dear Kayla,
I am delighted to inform you that your poem 'Spirit Of A Butterfly' has been awarded our prestigious Editor's Choice Award because it displays a unique perspective and original creativity -- judged to be the qualities most found in exceptional poetry. Congratulations on your acheivement."
there is more but I won't bore you but by this time I couldn't figure out which poem Spirit Of A Butterfly was. So I read the second paper and I see this little itty bity 4 line verse that I had written like 4 or 5 years ago and it's so cheesey it isn't funny! I've never liked it don't know why it's just plain yucky to me not saying that all ity bity 4 line verses are cheesy or yucky but this one just happens to be so.

utterly unamazing isn't it? :D thought you'd think so. Couldn't have been a poem I actually had put effort in, but here is what I think is most hilarious out of the whole thing. here's another excerpt from the letter thing:
"Your poem can be beutifully typeset on archive quality vellum with you choice of borders, then mounted on a walnut-finished plaque under lucite. The 10 1/2 by 13 inch plaques are truly impressive ways to exhibit your work."
They want me to pay $38.00 + $8.00 for shipping and handling = $46.00 to have a four lined verse on a 10 1/2 by 13 inch plaque. Isn't that a waste of walnut, vellum, and lucite? I think so!
lmao don't you think we cut down enough trees? Pretty soon we'll be living in bubbles.

i hate not having "enough" money i mean me personally it's nothing but a piece of paper with ink on it and it drives me nuts. My sister is getting into band and she wants to play the flute (and one time at band camp...) and the down payment was like 51 something and my mom had 6 something the total came out to 58 or 59 and mom's like well I ain't broke I still got a dollar and I'm tired of hearing the sadness in her voice.
I hate asking my mom for anything cause i know somehow or another she feels bad that she can't do anything to help because she doesn't have enough money and it's like mom i understand and it really isn't no big deal to me if I don't get what I ask for because I've never had really what I wanted but I've always had what I needed and that's what I appreciate from my mom, ya know?
It pisses me off when people go around and their like "I've got name brand clothes I'm better then you" or " I live in like this totally huge-antic house and you live with your grandmother" I don't get why people do that... I don't know ....
but what I do know it that in a few years it won't be like this anymore and I don't care if anybody thinks i'll make it or not, there is no choice but to make it. when that day comes in a few years I am gonna take care of my family. I am gonna get us clothes that actually fit I am gonna get us a descent house and I'm gonna pay all moms bills off so she can start from scratch again. It may sound like a lot but I'm gonna do it. No one is gonna stop me and they can try actually I hope they try because when I do I'm gonna rub it in there faces. |

yep so today sums up in one word boring. 'Cept instrument workshop that was interesting. With Mr. DeGraide's student teacher who's name I either can't pronounce or can't remember but she never smiles or laughs or jokes around i mean it's school but music should be fun, am I wrong? I understand she could be nervous but with her" no emotional happiness showing self" it make's me nervous and when I get nervous I talk to much sometimes which leads to my getting yelled at (for no apparent reason) and the list goes on but my point is I seriously don't think she likes showing or teaching a bunch of kids music appreciation skills. I know it's not music appreciation class but you have to appreciate music to enjoy it and I don't think she does. She is helping me i won't deny that and I probably shouldn't be complaining but after all isn't that what these journal things are for? I've been slowly teaching myself how do play the keyboard for five years on and off. I can play somethings but I'm not the master of keyboards and pianos....nowhere near master of anything for that matter. I'm a scatter brain i guess and yes i jump to conclusions and get caught in spider webs before I realize there's a web or even a spider waiting to eat me. I just think she should lighten up alittle more.
I think now I get what my brother was trying to tell me or still does try to tell me that I'm to serious and i don't joke around enough. but lately all I find myself doing is messing around and not getting things done which is nothing new to me.
so I guess my moral for today is not every thing is work and stress but not everything is fun and games. there is a time and place for everything. But teaching two beginner keyboards how to play and have a positive perspective on piano playing, is hardly the place for coldness.

Yep good old school so fun! specailly social skills when you have no homework. But my teacher's cool she's wicked nice although i'll probably fail this class because I never have homework because i have social skills and study hall on the same day really isn't my fault here is it?
I saw Mr. Golas today he actually had hair!!!! after seeing him for like two years with a cru cut and then seeing him with hair is kinda freaky. lol
for those who don't know Mr. Golas was my ninth grade science teacher it's been a while a long while.

last period class i got social skills it's like study but you get a grade for it lol not a bads idea only 51 more minutes til i get out unless we have a black out again. but we probably won't. We don't get that lucky. well guess I'll go surf the web lmao not much more I can do lol

and they're all screwed up!
first can't find my homeroom I go to the office and I tell them I was in Mr. Bishop's class in ninth and Mrs. Papitto's in tenth those two classes are for the "troubled" kids and the lady in the office tells me to look on the list out in the front and if I don't see my name then go see Mrs. Papitto. well it ain't there just like it I didn't exist in ninth and it wasn't on the paper in tenth. so i go see papitto and she tells me she don't have me that Ms. Della Porta and her room is 209. I've been in this school for 3 yrs and I do not know where 209 is. i must have 4 circles around the second floor before I realized I passed 4 times and mrs. della porta says hi kayla and I'm like hi I go and sit down best morning ever! Next it's the schedules. I get mine and I didn't get anything I signed up for so that whole day I went to classes I didn't want to go to. here's my first sched.

I never signed up for drama, instrument workshop, or french 3.
so the second day of school I spend the first hour in the guidance office and here's my new schedule.

so after I figured out that my A1 period had no class 3rd day of school I find myself back in the guidance office

all my classes together give me 8 credits and after last year i can use all the credits I can get the adverage number of credits a yr are 7 so who knows
my chem teacher gives us a quiz 3rd day of school!!!!! good thing I did my homework!

well the MRI thingy came back fine although she found out that she has cronic sinus disease lol a sis oh her brain (not a tumor) how ironic! I don't know if she still has to go for the other test or not but we shall see.

bought myself another shirt that says Rock Royalty on itand it's got this scull with flames that I wish were the normal color but they're blue lol it's got this sparkle stuff on it that i don't really like but it should come out in the wash :)
tonight me mom and arthur are going to see S.W.A.T. and medalion at the drive in. wooohooo lol
Just found out that I start school in FOUR DAYS and not five!!!!!! stupid stupid stupid!!! and I think we have 8 periods a day and not 4!!!!! that homework in every subject everyday i definately hate school (hope they don't put me in honors classes)
